Our Staff
Our Pastor, Craig Loving, has served Mountain View Lutheran since 1988. He completed his undergraduate degree at Wartburg College in 1976, and went on to earn a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Luther Theological Seminary in 1980. He served churches in Texas from 1980 to 1987. In 2004, Pastor Craig completed a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary. Two years later, he completed Colorado's requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. In addition to his responsibilities as a pastor, Pastor Craig has a private counseling practice. He writes bi-monthly articles on counseling related topics for Church Press, and has led workshops for pastors and retreats for pastors and wives.
Pastor Craig and his wife Mary have been married nearly 30 years. They have three adult children (two of whom are married) and one grandchild.
When he finds time, Pastor Craig enjoys reading, geocaching with Mary, hiking or biking with his sons, playing with his grandson, and making good use of his chainsaw.
