Pastor Clyde Awtrey is now in his third career as he serves Mountain View Lutheran Church as Pastor. He and his wife, Deaconess Kathy began their ministries as Missionaries-at-large outside normal congregational structures, including prison ministry and small group fellowships.
Following his service in the United States Air Force, he worked in tech whilst faithfully serving ALC and LCMS congregations, until he finally transferred into his third career of ministry in 2001. In the last two decades, he has served Faith Lutheran Church in Woodland Park, CO, Family of Faith Lutheran Church in Falcon, CO, the Evangelical Lutheran Church Without Walls, and now Mountain View Lutheran Church.
Clyde and Kathy have 3 grown children, 7 grand children, and even 3 great grandchildren! Clyde and Kathy both continue missionary ministries as they serve MVLC with great excitement and anticipation for the future of the people here, and those who will come and join them.
